Why Team ROVI runs inside REAL.

After twenty years running franchises and independents, I moved my team to REAL for the structure, not the brand. Here’s what the model actually gives an agent — the same reasoning I’d give any broker-owner doing real due diligence.

A cap, not a forever split

You pay REAL 15% until you hit the cap (about $12,000 a year direct), then a flat, reduced per-transaction fee for the rest of your anniversary year. A traditional 70/30 split has no ceiling — the brokerage’s cut scales with you forever. The cap is where producers quietly pull ahead.

Revenue share from REAL’s cut, not yours

Attract another agent and a slice of REAL’s company split routes to you. It comes out of the 15% REAL keeps, not the 85% the producing agent earns — so nobody beneath you earns a dollar less because you exist. It isn’t a pyramid; it’s a carve-out of the company’s own margin.

Equity — you can own the brokerage

REAL is publicly traded, and agents become shareholders: a stock purchase program that converts part of your commission to shares at a discount, plus stock awarded for capping and for attracting. After 20 years of building equity I had to staff and insure, owning a piece of the platform I produce for matters.

No franchise overhead

No franchise royalty, no per-office franchise tax, no storefront you’re quietly paying for. REAL is a platform, not a franchise — each office is independently owned and operated, and the savings show up in the cap and fees instead of the brand’s overhead.

The platform, included

On Team ROVI: Follow Up Boss CRM, Dotloop transaction management, an AI assistant, Google Workspace, a Transaction Coordinator on every deal, and a Listing Coordinator on every listing. Tools that are a line-item à-la-carte cost at most brokerages.

Daily live training

“Virtual” doesn’t mean unsupported. REAL runs several live trainings a day across the brokerage, on top of Team ROVI’s own Tuesday/Thursday calls and the Wednesday broker call. The agents who show up are the agents whose business compounds.
